Volunteer Bond


Foothills Lacrosse Association (FLA) is a volunteer-run organization that relies on the support of parents and other volunteers.

To ensure that there is equal participation from all FLA families, each registered player has a required number of volunteer credits that must be completed by their family each season.

Families with more than one child are required to complete the full credits for each child.

If the required volunteer credits are not completed, a mandatory $400 fee will be added to the family's account for next season's registration.

There are two types of volunteer credits:

  • Tournament & Association Credits
  • Team Credits

Each registered player is responsible for 1 tournament credit and 4 team credits (the exception is players in the U7 division who are only required to complete 1 team credit).

 

 

Tournament & Association Credits

Tournament credits are earned by volunteering at the FLA Barn Burner tournament.

1 credit is earned for each role.

Volunteer positions include:

  • Selling 50/50 tickets
  • Selling tickets at raffle tables
  • Security
  • Any other duties associated with the tournament

Association credits are earned by volunteering for FLA fundraisers.

1 credit is earned for each role. 

This includes:

  • Casino (ALA, CDLA, RMLL & FLA)
  • Roughnecks 50/50
  • Any other FLA event

NOTE: Team fundraising is organized by each team, and does not earn association credits.
